Bottled Water Mythology
As the quality of our nation’s drinking water becomes more suspect, consumers are searching for a reliable effective way to be sure their families are getting safe quality water. With over 600 bottled water brands on the market in the United States alone, and no uniform state or federal standards, those who purchase bottled water are not even sure they are getting what they pay for. What’s more, while we often hear of water shortages, the planet Earth could hardly be more water rich. Scientists estimate the Earth’s inventory of water at some 326 million cubic miles. That's enough to cover all of the 50 United States to a depth of about 90 miles.
What About Our Drinking Water?
We live in a world of IP-based communications, hyper-connected pocket-sized computers, and 3-D chatting over wireless phones. What about our drinking water? Fortunately, we have indeed made progress in how we process and preserve the precious resource H2O as well. The foremost method is by utilizing Reverse Osmosis (“RO”) technology, a purification process that provides families an alternative to bottled drinking water without making any compromise in taste or quality. In actual fact, the method surpasses bottled water in purity while costing much less.
Facts About Water Purity
A safe, high-purity water is low in dissolved salts and impurities as well as containing minimum traces of undesired tastes or odors. As a general rule, the lower the Total Dissolved Solids (“TDS”)—the higher the purity, the better the water. Today, systems that use RO technology are able to remove these excess dissolved impurities and produce an extraordinary level of safe high-quality drinking water, without bottles, storage, deliveries or interruption. Contemporary higher-end RO systems for residential applications are earthquake ready, fully automatic and fit neatly under a kitchen sink, requiring only a minimum amount of space.
Why Reverse Osmosis?
Reverse Osmosis (“RO”) is a membrane separation technology capable of removing a broad range of contaminants: sodium, nitrates, toxic metals, arsenic, lead, mercury, aluminum, pesticides, herbicides, trihalomethanes, bacteria, radioactive substances and much more. RO purification and simple water filtration are not the same. Basic filters are only able to trap and store a few basic impurities at best, whereas RO purification is able to produce high-purity water low in Total Dissolved Solids (‘TDS”) even in adverse environments. Simply no other technology can remove the broad spectrum of contaminants and deliver the overall water purity and taste of a RO system.
Cost Comparison Employing Reverse Osmosis
By using a proprietary multistage reverse osmosis process, we’re able to remove a broad spectrum of contaminants not possible by simple filtration—or by softening. Unlike conventional filters, which are only at best able to trap and store some basic impurities for a limited time, the self-cleaning design of reverse osmosis purification will perform at optimum efficiency at all times. In most cases, optimum means 97% removal of the overall impurities. In fact, reverse osmosis separation technology is so effective some major bottle water brands now use the method for processing the bottled water they deliver at a premium cost.
Purity TDS | 1 Gal/Day | Per Month | Per Year | |
Name Brands | 10-450 ppm | $1.50 | $45.63 | $547.50 |
Store Brands | 10-320 ppm | $0.79 | $24.03 | $288.35 |
RO Purification | 10-30 ppm | $0.27 | $8.32 | $99.84 |
The Company
EuroSystem Systems & Technology, a subsidiary of Carelli International, is exclusively devoted to the design, manufacture and distribution of ultra high-end commercial reverse osmosis purification for the medical, pharmaceutical and food service industry. EuroSystem reverse osmosis technology is benefiting companies such as Coca-Cola, Disney, Kodak, Starbucks, the Southern California Gas Company, and recently GE.
EuroSystem ES TFC2 Release-4 Technology
EuroSystem engineers began early experiments in separation
technology in 1986. Today, that technology is referred
to as reverse osmosis, or RO, and employed worldwide.
The introduction of the first EuroSystem products
using proprietary technology set new standards, causing
industry heavyweights to go back and reexamine their
engineering benchmarks for effective RO purification.
The latest EuroSystem Technology “ES TFC2 Release-4”
remains unparalleled—typically delivering twice
the performance in half the space of its counterparts.
